In this article I\u2019ve listed ten of\nmy favorite window box flowers to add color and interest to your home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most of these flowers are annuals, so you can change them up every year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can use\none single color or combination of colors in a window box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plant petunia seeds in early spring and you\u2019ll have blooms all through summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trailing Nasturtiums<\/a>\"\" can grow\nmore than 3 feet (90 cm) long and look beautiful cascading down the sides of a\nwindow box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nasturtium flowers can be\norange, red, yellow or cream and the flowers are edible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nasturtium seeds can be planted directly in the window box after\nthe last frost of the season when the soil is warm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In colder areas, you can plant the seeds indoors and transplant them out in spring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some varieties have green leaves and others have reddish colored\nleaves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
